We have been established in our community for over 25 years and have a purpose built setting, solely used by our pre-school. We provide a free flowing, safe learning environment with open-ended equipment so the children can think critically and become active learners. Our secure outdoor play area has a covered section for all weather play and a 'Community Garden' where we grow our own fruit and vegetables.
As a charity we have a parent volunteer management committee who support qualified staff to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage in a stimulating environment.
We use a keyperson system to monitor and record your child's interests and their progress towards the seven areas of learning. This knowledge is used to develop and enhance activities through the use of correct equipment and resources. Your child also has their own liaison book to take home and to other settings they attend so we can all share your childs experiences.
Our setting is committed to quality improvement and has recently gained level 2 in the North Lincolnshire Council Steps to Quality scheme.
Rated 'good' in our latest Ofsted inspection, noting that "Parents speak very highly of the pre-school and say that practitioners 'give us amazing support' and that their children are 'coming on in leaps and bounds' since starting there."
